Reporting on France

I have written extensively about France and all things French since 2009. I am a former staff reporter/web editor at The Connexion, France’s only national English-language newspaper, and I continue to freelance for them on an ongoing basis – reporting, sub-editing and working on special projects.

I’ve also provided contributions from France for a wide range of international publications and broadcasters – everyone from a small local newspaper in the UK to BBC Radio 4′s Face the Facts programme and Scientific American magazine. If you need a report filed from France, give me a call.

European media and journalism

I have written widely about the media and journalism since 2006. I am a freelance reporter at Journalism.co.uk and a former news editor at UK journalism trade magazine Press Gazette and The Radio Magazine. My work has also been published by MediaGuardian.co.uk, BrandRepublic.com, Broadcast, Media Week and RadioToday.co.uk.

Radio production

I have been involved in radio since 2000, working on short-term FM broadcasts, online and community radio. I provide remote production support to south-east London station Sydenham Community Radio, and I regularly do studio production shifts there, working mainly on programmes with a high level of speech content. I research programmes, book guests, edit audio and generally provide support to the on-air presenters.
